Oh yeah, I am quite efficient this week end! Here is the Balrog from a famous scene of "The Lord of the Rings".
And this time again, a little "making of":
The reference I had was of very VERY poor quality, so I took a few liberties. The light spreading all over the Balrog head from various places was quite difficult to paint... Gandalf however has a simple lighting which was very nice to handle. And the composition of this shot is really great! What a bunch of great guys working on this movie!
And the answer to the last post is... Kirsten Dunst (again, yes) :p
Je suis productif ce week end! Voilà le Balrog d'une célèbre scène du "Seigneur des Anneaux", ainsi que le making of, que je commence à prendre l'habitude de faire maintenant (toujours très intéressant a posteriori). La référence que j'avais étais de très mauvaise qualité donc j'ai un peu improvisé. La lumière sur la tête du Balrog m'a demandé pas mal de travail (et je n'en suis pas pleinement satisfait) du fait qu'elle vient de plein d'endroits différents. Sur Gandalf cependant, ce fut un peu plus simple.
La composition est vraiment sympa dans cette image je trouve. Ils sont bons ces gars...
